Understanding Wine

This course aims to develop your sensory evaluation skills- your ability to taste, feel, smell and describe the wine you taste.
You'll sample and analyse 50 different wines sourced from all over Australia. Before long, you'll have learnt to identify many different wine types.

This is a follow on from our popular Understanding Wine course. The emphasis of this course is on palate development. Basic theory is assumed and over 4 weeks you'll examine in depth classic wine styles and varietals with standout Australian and International examples. Your knowledge and confidence will grow through a series of tastings each session, with the emphasis on fun and learning.
